Welcome to SexyPDF. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SexyPDF website at sexypdf.com and all related services, features, and tools (collectively, the "Service"). SexyPDF is operated by SexyPDF ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

SexyPDF provides a suite of online PDF processing tools designed to help individuals and businesses manage their documents efficiently. Our tools include, but are not limited to:

• Merging multiple PDF files into a single document
• Splitting PDF files into separate pages or sections
• Compressing PDF files to reduce file size
• Converting documents between PDF and other formats (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, images, etc.)
• Rotating, reordering, and organizing PDF pages
• Adding watermarks, page numbers, and annotations
• Protecting and unlocking PDF files

The Service is available through our web application. We offer both free and premium tiers with varying levels of access and processing capabilities.

Certain features of the Service require you to create an account. When registering, you agree to the following:

• Age requirement: You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the Service.
• Accurate information: You must provide truthful, accurate, and complete information during registration and keep your account information up to date.
• Account security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at post@sexypdf.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• One account per person: Each individual may maintain only one personal account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or for any other reason is prohibited and may result in termination of all associated accounts.

Free Tier: SexyPDF offers a free tier that provides access to core PDF tools with daily processing limits. Free-tier users may be subject to file size restrictions, daily operation quotas, and queue-based processing during periods of high demand.

Premium Plans: Our premium subscription plans unlock unlimited file processing, higher file size limits, priority processing, batch operations, and access to advanced tools. Premium features and pricing are detailed on our Pricing page.

Business Plans: We offer custom business plans with tailored features, team management, volume-based pricing, dedicated support, and custom integrations. Contact us for a personalized quote.

We reserve the right to modify the features, limits, and pricing of any plan. Existing subscribers will be notified of material changes at least 30 days in advance.

Billing cycle: Premium plans are billed on a recurring basis, either monthly or annually, as selected during subscription. All payments are processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment processor.

Auto-renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date. The applicable subscription fee will be charged to your payment method on file.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. No prorated refunds are issued for partial billing periods.

Refunds: Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If you are unsatisfied with the Service, you may request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or most recent renewal by contacting post@sexypdf.com. We reserve the right to deny refund requests that we determine to be abusive or fraudulent.

Price changes: We may adjust subscription pricing from time to time. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect. If you do not agree to the new pricing, you may cancel your subscription before the next billing cycle.

You agree to use the Service responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Malicious files: Uploading files that contain viruses, malware, ransomware, or any other harmful code designed to damage or disrupt systems.
• Circumventing limits: Attempting to bypass usage limits, rate limits, or access controls through any means, including creating multiple accounts, using proxies, or exploiting vulnerabilities.
• Reverse engineering: Decompiling, disassembling, reverse engineering, or attempting to derive the source code of the Service or any of its components.
• Illegal use: Using the Service for any purpose that is unlawful, including processing documents that contain illegal content, facilitate fraud, or violate the rights of others.
• Automated scraping: Using bots, scrapers, crawlers, or other automated tools to access, extract data from, or interact with the Service without our prior written consent.
• Respect for others: Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users or our staff through any channel, including support communications.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, at our sole discretion, without prior notice or refund.

Your content: You retain all ownership rights and intellectual property rights to the documents and files you upload to and process through the Service. We claim no ownership over your content.

Our platform: SexyPDF and its entire contents, features, functionality, branding, logos, design, and underlying source code are owned by SexyPDF and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any part of the Service without our express written permission.

Limited license to process: By uploading files to the Service, you grant SexyPDF a limited, temporary, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to process your files solely for the purpose of performing the requested PDF operation. This license terminates automatically when your files are deleted from our servers.

All files uploaded to SexyPDF are processed on secure, encrypted servers located within the European Union. We implement robust security measures to protect your files during processing, including TLS 1.3 encryption for data in transit and AES-256 encryption for data at rest.

All uploaded files and processed outputs are automatically and permanently deleted within 2 hours of processing completion. We do not retain any copies, backups, or cached versions of your files beyond this period.

We do not access, read, analyze, or store the content of your files for any purpose other than completing the specific operation you requested. Our employees do not view your file contents unless you explicitly request support assistance and provide your consent.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SexyPDF and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or documents
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Loss of profits or revenue
• Damages arising from unauthorized access to your account
• Any other damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service

In no event shall our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service exceed the total amount of fees you have paid to SexyPDF during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. If you have not paid any fees, our maximum liability shall not exceed fifty euros (EUR 50).

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SexyPDF and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the Service or any activity under your account
• Content you upload, process, or transmit through the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right

Termination by us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or illegal activity, or if your continued use poses a risk to the Service or other users.

Termination by you: You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at post@sexypdf.com. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) shall continue to apply.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the applicable laws of the member state in which SexyPDF is established, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of the European Union. Both parties agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of these courts.

If you are a consumer residing in the EU, you may also be entitled to use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform, available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

For material changes, we will notify registered users via email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account.
